Agfa SYNAPS is a polypropylene-based synthetic paper developed for applications where standard paper is not durable enough. The material combines the appearance of paper with the strength and durability of a synthetic material. This makes Agfa SYNAPS highly suitable for both indoor and short-term outdoor applications. Thanks to its tear-resistant and water-resistant properties, printed graphics remain neat and legible even under more demanding conditions.
Paper-like appearance with enhanced durability
Agfa SYNAPS has a calm, matte appearance that closely resembles traditional paper, but offers significantly better technical properties. Prints are sharp, easy to read and colourfast, without unwanted gloss or reflections. The material is printed with pigment ink, ensuring high-resolution output and professional results, even for fine details and small text.
Water-resistant and tear-resistant
Unlike standard paper, Agfa SYNAPS is fully water-resistant and tear-resistant. This makes it suitable for applications that are frequently handled or exposed to moisture, such as instruction posters, directional signage and information boards.
Please note: Agfa SYNAPS does not have an adhesive layer. It is intended for use in frames and displays or can be mounted using tape, clips or other mounting systems.
